Job Requirements

  • At least 5-6 years of progressive hotel experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work long hours when required

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5-6 years progressive experience in a hotel
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Effective verbal and written communication with employees and guests
  • Effective listening and clarifying concerns of employees and guests
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Participate in MOD coverage as required
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing nametags
  • Comply with company standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations
  • Identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
  • Handle problems effectively including anticipating and solving problems
  • Understand and evaluate complex information to meet objectives
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Light physical work up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Job Duties

  • Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts including calling on top ten accounts meeting clients hosting luncheons and receptions and meeting with onsite contacts daily weekly and monthly
  • Tour operating departments daily making adjustments as needed via department heads
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings including training sessions and review of sales and operations efforts
  • Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs timely
  • Hold monthly financial reviews with all department managers MID's and supervisors
  • Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity levels and standard checkbook accounting procedures
  • Develop managers for future advancement through competency and corporate training programs
