Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in the restaurant industry
- General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, food handling and sanitation
- Leadership skills with ability to train and motivate team members
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Leadership skills including the ability to supervise, train and motivate restaurant personnel
- 2-3 years supervisory or management experience in a restaurant
- Familiar with FOH and BOH/Kitchen management
- Ability to work independently and with discretion
- Flexible availability to work different shifts
- Good written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Manage restaurant FOH and BOH
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in leading the restaurant management team
- Instruct, train, coach and develop the restaurant team to create an environment where enthusiastic people are recognized and rewarded for achieving organizational and personal goals
- Assist with the overall recruiting and hiring of hourly employees
- Ensure appropriate staffing of restaurant team to maximize customer service and sales efforts
- Work to maximize sales and profits within the restaurant
- Responsible for all cash controls and enforcement of company policies
- Prepare and execute local store marketing, merchandising, sales and promotional efforts
- Assure that all safety and security procedures are followed
- Resolve customer complaints and train team in resolving restaurant issues
