Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • ability to lead and manage multiple departments
  • knowledge of financial management, accounting, and payroll
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
  • compliance with employment laws including I-9 and EEO
  • ability to work full time
  • strong customer service orientation
  • proficiency with scheduling tools

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area

Job Duties

  • Verify that all brand standards are maintained in each area of the property
  • manage the operation of all property departments
  • promote Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies
  • manage finance and accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking procedures
  • review financial statements, sales and activity reports to measure productivity and identify areas for improvement
  • stay available and approachable for all employees
  • assist and teach team managers scheduling against guest and occupancy goals
  • set clear performance expectations
  • assist team supervisors with coaching and counseling
  • solicit feedback for continuous improvement
  • extend professionalism and courtesy to guests and employees
  • motivate staff to resolve guest and employee concerns
  • provide excellent customer service and be readily available for guests
  • take proactive approaches to addressing guest concerns
  • assist employees in understanding guest needs and how to exceed them
  • ensure thorough and timely orientations for new team members
  • verify compliance with employment laws and promote a culturally diverse workplace
  • perform other duties as assigned
