Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient guest registration, checkout, guest service, and telephone service while applying brand standards
  • Implement company and franchise programs
  • Prepare forecasts and reports and assist in the development of the Rooms Division budget
  • Monitor and maintain front office systems and equipment to ensure optimum performance
  • Track guest satisfaction surveys and maximize the use of the guest response tracking system
  • Provide training for entry-level associates and supervisors
  • Develop and implement controls for expense management
  • Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs
  • Interview, hire, train, develop, and resolve problems with staff
  • Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals
  • Communicate clearly to staff both verbally and in writing
  • Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to maintain high satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with front office, guest service, and PBX standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to enhance communication and guest satisfaction
  • Assist in daily maintenance of room inventory status for optimum revenue and guest experience
  • Maintain front desk related equipment and stock of supplies
  • Resolve customer complaints and anticipate potential problems
  • Develop relations with sales team for sales strategies
  • Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available
  • Perform other assigned job-related duties
