Job Duties
- Ensure efficient guest registration, checkout, guest service, and telephone service while applying brand standards
- Implement company and franchise programs
- Prepare forecasts and reports and assist in the development of the Rooms Division budget
- Monitor and maintain front office systems and equipment to ensure optimum performance
- Track guest satisfaction surveys and maximize the use of the guest response tracking system
- Provide training for entry-level associates and supervisors
- Develop and implement controls for expense management
- Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs
- Interview, hire, train, develop, and resolve problems with staff
- Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals
- Communicate clearly to staff both verbally and in writing
- Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to maintain high satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with front office, guest service, and PBX standard operating procedures
- Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to enhance communication and guest satisfaction
- Assist in daily maintenance of room inventory status for optimum revenue and guest experience
- Maintain front desk related equipment and stock of supplies
- Resolve customer complaints and anticipate potential problems
- Develop relations with sales team for sales strategies
- Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
