Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, or related field
  • Or 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant major
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Availability to work full time at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years of guest services or related experience
  • Or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field without experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership abilities to influence and motivate staff
  • Experience in managing daily operations and team supervision
  • Proven ability to handle customer complaints effectively
  • Knowledge of front office procedures and guest service standards

Job Duties

  • Assist Front Office Manager in daily front office functions
  • Supervise Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk teams
  • Ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Foster employee recognition and maintain collaborative team relationships
  • Manage guest complaints and resolve conflicts
  • Collaborate on service improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with front office policies and credit procedures
