Job Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations
  • Ability to work varied shifts including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Physical ability to perform bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Commitment to follow safety standards and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years hospitality experience including front desk operations
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of front office management systems
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial monitoring
  • Guest service oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in hospitality

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support front office associates
  • Oversee all front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Assist in monitoring front office financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting controls
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of departmental budgets and forecasts
  • Review and submit capital budget item orders
  • Manage guest correspondence and incident logs
  • Maintain front office supplies and merchandise inventory
  • Collaborate with the Sales office to ensure group resumes and rooming lists are accurately maintained
  • Monitor guest room occupancy to optimize usage and minimize overbooking
  • Adhere to sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
