Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • two years experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • or two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong leadership and managerial skills
  • ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts
  • proficiency in front office operational procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • availability to work full time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions
  • supervise front office staff including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk
  • manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • provide leadership and guidance to team members fostering trust, respect, and cooperation
  • monitor and support progress toward guest service and front desk goals
  • resolve guest complaints, disputes, and grievances effectively
  • implement customer recognition/service programs and ensure compliance with front office policies and procedures
