Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Front Office Supervisor for a luxury or ultra-luxury property
  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight shifts if needed
  • Required to speak, read and write English
  • Physical ability to transport a minimum of 35 pounds and perform various physical tasks
  • Valid New Mexico Driver's License with ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles preferred
  • Willingness to relocate to Santa Fe, NM prior to starting work

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience as a Front Office Supervisor for a luxury or ultra-luxury property
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up
  • Clear thinker able to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly
  • Understand guests' service needs
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and associate information
  • Familiarity with yield management and suggestive selling techniques
  • Ability to use property management systems such as OPERA preferred
  • Mid-level to advanced computer skills
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding or difficult guests
  • Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure
  • Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guests

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Rosewood departmental policies, service procedures and standards
  • Ensure that guest service standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel and restaurant features/services, hours of operation
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all room types, numbers, layout, decor, and location
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all room rates, special packages and promotions
  • Maintain daily house counts and expected arrivals/departures
  • Monitor room availability status for any given day
  • Be aware of scheduled in-house group activities, meetings, locations and times
  • Ensure all staff adhere to hotel and departmental standards, policies and procedures
