Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, or related field
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • strong leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • leadership and supervisory experience
  • ability to resolve conflicts and handle complaints professionally
  • knowledge of guest services operations and front office procedures
  • familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • assist the Front Office Manager in supervising front office staff daily
  • manage Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk operations
  • ensure efficient guest check-in and check-out processes
  • lead and encourage team members with integrity and sound business decisions
  • resolve guest complaints and conflicts effectively
  • monitor and support progress toward guest services and front desk goals
  • implement customer recognition programs and enforce front office policies
  • communicate critical information to staff and participate in department meetings
  • function as acting Front Office Manager in their absence
