Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- at least 2 years of related management experience
- proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
- ability to exert medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to work long hours when required
- strong verbal communication skills
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly
- ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- effective problem-solving abilities
- capacity to assimilate complex information from disparate sources

Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with hospitality service standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints, and/or accidents efficiently
- motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Room Division personnel
- prepare and conduct Room Division interviews and support recruiting efforts
- develop employee morale and ensure training of Rooms Division personnel
- maintain professional working relationships and promote open communication with managers and departments
- monitor oversold dates to maximize rooms revenue
- tour rooms operating departments and solicit feedback
- maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily
- monitor and support corporate Guest Recognition Program
- monitor expenses to ensure control and maximize profit
- ensure compliance with hospitality service standard operating procedures
- conduct walk-throughs of public areas and guestrooms
- monitor labor expenses through schedule approvals
- participate in required management programs
- operate front office computer system including software maintenance and report generation
- operate phones and radios professionally
- be knowledgeable of corporate marketing programs and ensure staff understanding
- monitor all VIPs, special guests and requests
- perform other duties as requested by management
