Job Requirements

  • Must be highly organized

  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
  • Must have excellent supervisory skills
  • Must take initiative to drive changes and constantly look for areas of improvement
  • One to two years of supervisory experience in Front Office
  • Experience working with Opera PMS preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that the Front Desk Team checks guests in and out efficiently and professionally
  • Responding to guests' needs and concerns promptly with a focus on service recovery
  • Enforcing all safety and security policies and procedures
  • Training, coaching, and developing Front Desk team members
  • Preparing and adjusting weekly work schedules according to staffing guidelines and labor forecasts
  • Reviewing guest comments and ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Maintaining effective communication between Front Office and other departments
  • Monitoring and maintaining Front Office systems and equipment for optimal performance
  • Fostering good relations with concierge, valet, taxi, and airport services to maximize quality service
