Job Requirements

  • Must have a 4-year college degree
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Proficient with Windows and office software
  • Ability to work long hours including two overnight shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and stand for entire shifts
  • Effective communication skills
  • Friendly and service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Comply with company standards and regulations
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Attend required meetings and trainings
  • Ability to handle and solve problems
  • Understand and evaluate complex information

Job Qualifications

  • A 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience required
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Labor experience and OPERA experience preferred
  • Proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing
  • Ability to stand during entire shift
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Maintain warm and friendly demeanor
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
  • Able to participate in M.O.D. coverage

Job Duties

  • Work closely with sales and reservations to fulfill special requests for groups and VIPs
  • Assist daily in guest reception
  • Respond to social media feedback and follow up with guests and internally
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments
  • Assist and lead guest service training initiatives within the front office
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor in a fast paced environment
  • Provide front desk assistant duties including guest registration, up-selling, and preparing for group check-ins and VIP arrivals
