Job Requirements
- Must have a 4-year college degree
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Supervisory experience
- Proficient with Windows and office software
- Ability to work long hours including two overnight shifts
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and stand for entire shifts
- Effective communication skills
- Friendly and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Comply with company standards and regulations
- Maintain professional appearance
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Ability to handle and solve problems
- Understand and evaluate complex information
Job Qualifications
- A 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience required
- Supervisory experience required
- Labor experience and OPERA experience preferred
- Proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Maintain warm and friendly demeanor
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
- Able to participate in M.O.D. coverage
Job Duties
- Work closely with sales and reservations to fulfill special requests for groups and VIPs
- Assist daily in guest reception
- Respond to social media feedback and follow up with guests and internally
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments
- Assist and lead guest service training initiatives within the front office
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor in a fast paced environment
- Provide front desk assistant duties including guest registration, up-selling, and preparing for group check-ins and VIP arrivals
