Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of experience in front office or hospitality role
- supervisory experience
- proficiency with computer software relevant to hotel operations
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong problem-solving ability
- ability to multitask and handle fast-paced environment
- physical ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications
- A 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
- supervisory experience required
- labor experience and OPERA experience preferred
- proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing
- ability to work long hours including two overnight shifts
- ability to exert up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
- ability to stand for entire shift

Job Duties
- Work closely with sales and reservations to fulfill special requests for groups and VIPs
- assist daily in guest reception
- respond to social media feedback and follow up with guests and internally
- communicate effectively and genuinely with guests, team members and other departments
- assist and often lead guest service training within the front office
- maintain a friendly and caring demeanor in a fast paced environment
- maintain a professional image according to hotel guidelines
- cooperate and assist colleagues as needed
- perform front desk duties including registering guests, upselling, preparing for group check-ins and VIP arrivals
- maintain and update guest profiles
- review daily and future reservations to accommodate special requests
- train new hires for front desk
- interview, hire and train guest services agents
- stay informed of hotel events and functions during shifts
- maintain house bank and report daily receipts and deposits
- work with and understand basic financial data
- find guest-centric solutions
- promote hotel services and provide local information
- assist with reservations and PBX
- resolve guest complaints effectively
- anticipate guest needs proactively
- respond quickly to guest requests ensuring satisfaction
- maintain relations with repeat guests and their requests
- supervise shifts when needed
