- minimum two years experience as Front Desk Agent
- minimum one year experience as Front Desk Supervisor
- ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- strong problem-solving skills
- excellent communication skills in English
- proficiency with property management systems
- physical ability to perform job duties
- willingness to work full-time
- ability to work under minimal supervision
- maintain confidentiality of guest information
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience as a Front Desk Agent
- at least one year experience as Front Desk Supervisor
- experience preferably in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels
- high school diploma
- some college education preferred
- ability to prioritize, organize and perform job functions with speed and accuracy
- clear thinker with good judgment and problem-solving skills
- effective team player with minimal supervision
- familiarity with yield management and cost controls
- proficient in property management systems and point of sale systems
- fluent in English
- additional language skills preferred
- physical ability to perform required job movements
- strict confidentiality with guest information
Job Duties
- Manage all front desk functions in accordance with hotel standards
- maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- ensure high standards of service are met daily
- anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
- resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- monitor cleanliness and organization of work areas
- manage work schedules and coordinate staff breaks
- conduct pre-shift meetings and review daily information with staff
- monitor staff grooming and attire
- ensure equipment and materials readiness
- supervise performance of front desk, bell/door, PBX and concierge staff
- monitor check-in/check-out processes and alleviate pressure points
- ensure compliance with cashiering procedures including handling payments and reconciliations
- coordinate with accounting on disputed charges
- manage overbooking and walked guests
- support Director of Front Office in staff development
- carry out additional duties as required
