Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Uphold all Co-op policies, procedures and expectations
  • Ensure the Front End department operates effectively and efficiently under the direction of the Front End Manager
  • Provide prompt, friendly and courteous customer service
  • Verify and reconcile tills and handle cash deposits and change orders
  • Manage labor allocation and employee breaks
  • Authorize returns, refunds and check approvals
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Create and implement operating standards and procedures
  • Delegate tasks and ensure completion
  • Support performance management and employee coaching
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at cashier stations
  • Assist with scheduling, budgeting and recruitment
  • Contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives
  • Support safety and security protocols
  • Perform inventory counts and equipment maintenance
  • Demonstrate cooperative values daily
