Job Duties
- Offer engaging service to guests
- Adapt to food and beverage operating programs
- Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Room Service Department
- Provide visible leadership, recognition, and handle complaints, concerns, or special requests
- Ensure quality of food items, ingredients, preparation methods, and knowledge of wine and spirits
- Answer telephone with courteous and efficient etiquette, process guest orders accurately
- Communicate guest orders to kitchen, coordinate timely delivery, and ensure food quality
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond to concerns promptly
- Coordinate amenity delivery ensuring prompt and accurate service
- Assist in controlling labor and operating expenses through scheduling, purchasing, and inventory management
- Attend regular operational meetings for coordination between departments
