Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in luxury dining environment an asset
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
  • Open schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Offer engaging service to guests
  • Adapt to food and beverage operating programs
  • Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Room Service Department
  • Provide visible leadership, recognition, and handle complaints, concerns, or special requests
  • Ensure quality of food items, ingredients, preparation methods, and knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Answer telephone with courteous and efficient etiquette, process guest orders accurately
  • Communicate guest orders to kitchen, coordinate timely delivery, and ensure food quality
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond to concerns promptly
  • Coordinate amenity delivery ensuring prompt and accurate service
  • Assist in controlling labor and operating expenses through scheduling, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Attend regular operational meetings for coordination between departments
