Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • 1 year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related area
  • ability to manage day-to-day operations
  • knowledge of food and beverage policies and procedures
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • capability to operate department equipment
  • understanding of financial reports and budget management
  • availability to work full time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
  • supervises daily food and beverage shift operations ensuring compliance with policies and standards
  • supports and supervises monthly self-inspection programs
  • operates department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • supervises staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives
  • encourages trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • develops goals and plans to organize and accomplish work
  • communicates areas needing attention and follows up
  • coordinates cleaning programs and recommends improvements
  • follows property-specific recovery plans
  • stays readily available for team members
  • demonstrates knowledge of brand-specific service culture
  • provides outstanding customer service for satisfaction and retention
  • serves as a role model for behavior
  • manages day-to-day operations ensuring quality and standards
