Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • One year of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Ability to supervise daily operations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in budget comprehension and payroll management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with three years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with one year of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and understand operating statements and payroll progress reports

Job Duties

  • Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operations ensuring compliance with policies, standards and procedures
  • Supports and supervises monthly self-inspection programs
  • Operates department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
  • Provides services that exceed guest expectations and manages day-to-day operations to maintain quality and standards
