Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1-3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Willingness to perform hands-on job functions as needed
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
or 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 1 year experience in food and beverage or related professional area
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of industry standards and policies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Familiarity with budget and payroll management
Experience in coordinating cleaning and maintenance programs

Job Duties

Assist in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
Supervise daily food and beverage shift operations ensuring compliance with policies, standards and procedures
Support and supervise monthly self inspection programs
Operate department equipment and report malfunctions
Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational and financial objectives
Encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
Develop goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work
Celebrate successes and learn from failures
Communicate operational areas needing attention and follow up
Coordinate cleaning programs and recommend improvements
Follow property specific second effort and recovery plans
Be readily available and approachable to team members
Demonstrate knowledge of brand specific service culture
Provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations
Serve as a role model for appropriate behaviors
Manage day-to-day operations to meet quality standards
Proactively manage guest concerns
Set a positive example for guest relations
Review guest feedback and satisfaction results with employees
Respond promptly to customer service requests
Provide information to supervisors and co-workers via multiple communication methods
Analyze information and solve problems effectively
Perform hourly job functions as needed
