Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field
- Or 2-year degree in relevant discipline with at least 1 year experience
- Ability to supervise and manage daily operations
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle guest concerns proactively
- Effective communication skills
- Capability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours including full time schedule
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Proficiency with operating department equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 3 years preferred
- Alternatively, 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 1 year experience in food and beverage or culinary
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Proficiency in managing budgets and payroll
Job Duties
- Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
- Supervises daily food and beverage shift operations and ensures compliance with policies, standards, and procedures
- Supports and supervises monthly self-inspection programs
- Operates department equipment as necessary and reports malfunctions
- Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
- Encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Communicates areas needing attention to staff and follows up
- Coordinates cleaning programs in all food and beverage areas and recommends improvements
- Follows property-specific second effort and recovery plans
- Demonstrates knowledge of brand-specific service culture
- Provides exceptional customer service and proactive guest concern resolution
- Sets positive examples for guest relations and stays approachable for all guests
- Reviews guest satisfaction results with employees and responds timely to customer service requests
- Provides information to supervisors and co-workers via various communication methods
- Analyzes and evaluates information to solve problems
- Performs hourly job functions when necessary
- Maintains professionalism and courtesy to team members
