Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- three years experience in the food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
- or two-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality or related major
- one year experience in food and beverage, culinary or related area
- ability to operate department equipment
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to manage budgets and payroll
- availability to work full time
- willingness to perform hourly job functions if necessary
Job Qualifications

- or two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality or Business Administration with one year of experience

Job Duties
- Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
- supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures
- supports and supervises a monthly self inspection program
- operates all department equipment as necessary and reports malfunction
- supervises staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
- encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
- develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work
- celebrates successes and addresses failures
- communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding
- coordinates cleaning program in all food and beverage areas, identifies trends and recommends improvements
- follows property specific second effort and recovery plan
- stays readily available and approachable for all team members
- demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture
- provides services that exceed customer satisfaction and retention goals
- serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- manages day-to-day operations to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns
- sets a positive example for guest relations

- reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees
