Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of professional hospitality experience
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • ability to manage multiple departments simultaneously
  • proficiency with scheduling and staff management
  • experience with financial performance monitoring and budget adherence
  • availability for full-time schedule
  • eligible to work legally in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • or 3 years of experience in two hospitality areas without formal education
  • experience managing shifts, scheduling, performance management, problem solving, and day-to-day operations
  • demonstrated hospitality skills

Job Duties

  • Lead daily front desk, housekeeping, or guest services shift operations
  • assist in supervising inspection programs for guestrooms and public spaces
  • participate in staff and department meetings
  • manage compliance with OSHA and brand standards
  • open and close food and beverage outlet shifts
  • supervise operations in absence of director or manager
  • reinforce food and beverage standards and safety
  • monitor departmental inventories and order supplies
  • manage banquet and event setups according to event orders
  • lead and participate in event servicing
  • schedule banquet and event staff
  • assist with event technology support
  • monitor financial performance and assist in budget management
  • handle guest complaints and provide exceptional customer service
  • participate in employee performance appraisals and coaching
  • schedule employee shifts to meet operational needs
