Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- three years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- or two-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- one year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- ability to supervise staff and manage operations
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of brand-specific service culture
- capability to handle customer service demands
- ability to analyze information and solve problems
- flexibility to perform hourly job functions when necessary
- understanding of budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
- supervise daily food and beverage shift operations ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- support and supervise monthly self-inspection programs
- operate all department equipment as necessary and report malfunctions
- supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
- encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- celebrate and foster decisions that result in successes and failures
- communicate areas needing attention to staff and follow up to ensure understanding
- coordinate cleaning programs in all food and beverage areas identifying trends and recommending improvements
- follow property-specific second effort and recovery plan
- stay readily available and approachable for all team members
- demonstrate knowledge of brand-specific service culture
- provide services above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
- serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate behaviors
- manage day-to-day operations ensuring quality and standards meet customer expectations
- take proactive approaches to guest concerns
- set a positive example for guest relations
- stay readily available and approachable for guests
- review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees
