Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous leadership experience in food and beverage industry
- Proficiency with Micros POS and OpenTable software
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and legal regulations
- Capacity to work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced, high-end food and beverage environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate and comfortable with business and industry software
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of industry tools such as Micros POS, OpenTable, and Microsoft Office
- Proven track record of meeting operating budgets and managing labor and cost of goods
- Hotel and Restaurant Administration degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience as a bar manager in an upper-scale hotel environment preferred
- Expert knowledge of Micros POS and OpenTable preferred
Job Duties
- Execute floor shifts throughout all F&B outlets in hotel
- Assist the Food and Beverage Director/Manager in developing operating budgets for each beverage outlet
- Plan and implement cost control measures for all beverage expenses including beverage cost, labor cost, and other operating expenses
- Inspect to ensure safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance, and other standards are consistently met
- Help plan and approve organizational chart, staffing, scheduling procedures, and job descriptions for beverage positions
- Interview and approve hires in the beverage department
- Ensure all legal requirements are met including wage and hour and laws related to alcoholic beverages and food safety
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for beverage outlets
- Monitor purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies
- Develop wine lists and sales promotion programs
- Develop cocktail program with signature drinks
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of beverage equipment and facilities
- Monitor employee dress codes
- Audit and approve weekly payroll
- Coordinate and approve beverage invoices
- Plan and implement marketing and sales promotions
- Develop banquet beverage program for sales team
- Execute weekly and monthly inventory
- Oversee lounge bar as manager on duty
- Fill in for other department managers as needed
- Participate in industry and community organizations
- Assist other properties and standardize operating procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
