Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in a hotel environment
  • Open availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and guest service abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol compliance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Strong food and beverage background in a multi-unit setting
  • Previous hotel experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a large team
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Experience with budget management and inventory control
  • Ability to adapt and work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
