Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years old to serve and pour alcohol in California
  • commitment to follow food safety protocols
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overnights
  • ability to push, pull, and carry moderate weight
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • strong emotional intelligence
  • must be team-oriented and dynamic leader

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years in food and beverage management
  • wine and beverage knowledge preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to lead and mentor staff
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • guest-focused and personable
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Job Duties

  • oversee food and beverage areas within the hotel
  • schedule and forecast staffing needs
  • train and coach front of house team
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • handle customer complaints promptly and professionally
  • coordinate special events
  • complete weekly payroll and tip distribution
