Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and food service software
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in food and beverage management or supervisory roles
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasting and inventory control
  • Proficiency with food and beverage management systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
