Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferably within hospitality or food and beverage
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience
  • Preferred 3 years experience within food and beverage
  • Previous experience in high-volume fast-paced environments
  • Previous experience writing schedules, managing inventory and placing orders, and record keeping
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Proactive nature and strong team first mentality
  • Previous experience managing in a union environment highly preferred
  • Previous hotel and restaurant experience highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition and rewards
  • Meet and greet guests, respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
