Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience preferably within hospitality or food and beverage
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience
  • Ability to work varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Proactive nature and strong team-first mentality
  • Previous experience managing in a union environment highly preferred
  • Previous hotel and restaurant experience highly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of customer service experience preferably within hospitality or food and beverage
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience
  • Three years of food and beverage experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume fast-paced environments
  • Experience in writing schedules, managing inventory, placing orders, and record keeping
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Proactive nature with a strong team-first mentality
  • Previous experience managing in a union environment preferred
  • Previous hotel and restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food quality, inventory management, outlet reservations, systems management, budgeting, marketing, report generation, and department meetings
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training team members
