Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of customer service experience preferably within hospitality or food and beverage
- Minimum two years supervisory experience
- Ability to work varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Proactive nature and strong team-first mentality
- Previous experience managing in a union environment highly preferred
- Previous hotel and restaurant experience highly preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of customer service experience preferably within hospitality or food and beverage
- Minimum two years supervisory experience
- Three years of food and beverage experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume fast-paced environments
- Experience in writing schedules, managing inventory, placing orders, and record keeping
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Proactive nature with a strong team-first mentality
- Previous experience managing in a union environment preferred
- Previous hotel and restaurant experience preferred
Job Duties
- Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food quality, inventory management, outlet reservations, systems management, budgeting, marketing, report generation, and department meetings
- Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
- Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards
- Meet and greet guests and respond to inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and resolve guest concerns
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training team members
