Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years customer service experience preferably within hospitality food and beverage
  • minimum two years supervisory experience
  • preferred three years experience in food and beverage
  • experience in high-volume fast-paced environments
  • experience writing schedules, managing inventory and placing orders, and record keeping
  • ability to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication and mentoring skills
  • proactive nature and strong team-first mentality
  • previous experience managing in a union environment highly preferred
  • previous hotel and restaurant experience highly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years customer service experience preferably in hospitality, two years supervisory experience, three years food and beverage experience preferred, experience managing high-volume fast-paced environments, experience with scheduling, inventory management, and record keeping, strong communication and mentoring skills, team-oriented mentality, experience managing in a union environment preferred, prior hotel and restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meetings
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition and rewards
  • Meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries, requests and issues promptly and efficiently, and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
