Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience preferably in hospitality or food and beverage
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Ability to work varied and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Proactive and team oriented
  • Previous experience managing in a union environment preferred
  • Previous hotel and restaurant experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience preferably in hospitality or food and beverage
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Preferably 3 years experience in food and beverage
  • Experience in high-volume fast-paced environments
  • Experience writing schedules, managing inventory, placing orders, and record keeping
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work varied and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Previous management experience in a union environment preferred
  • Previous hotel and restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in management of all food and beverage operations including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, and department management
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition, and rewards
  • Meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and resolve guest concerns
  • Monitor service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training team members
