Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality or food and beverage management
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Must maintain professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Or a 4-year college degree
  • Or a 2-year college degree and 1 or more years of related experience
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Medium physical work capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests
  • Ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
  • Capable multitasker with prioritization skills
  • Attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented demeanor
  • Willingness to attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Ability to participate in Manager on Duty coverage
  • Regular attendance complying with hotel standards

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees at all times
  • Oversee daily operations of the F&B outlet
  • Supervise outlet personnel
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints
  • Collaborate with other F&B managers and keep them informed of issues
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or matters requiring attention
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring all phases of Loss Prevention in the outlet
  • Prepare and submit required reports timely
  • Monitor quality of service in the F&B outlet
  • Assist in menu planning and preparation
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, health and sanitation regulations
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and requisition procedures
  • Be visibly present on the floor and assist staff during each meal period
  • Conduct staff performance reviews according to standards
  • Train employees on SOPs and job tasks
  • Participate in departmental and hotel training sessions
  • Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions following hiring standards
  • Complete tip reporting accurately
  • Implement corporate promotions including buffet and three-meal concept standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
