Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations
- Effective problem handling and solution implementation
- Ability to understand and evaluate complex data
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work long hours when necessary
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Or a 4-year college degree
- Or a 2-year college degree with 1 or more years of related experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Service-oriented attitude towards guests and employees
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
- Experience conducting staff performance reviews
- Familiarity with local liquor laws and health regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to evaluate complex information
Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees at all times
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the F&B outlet
- Supervise outlet personnel
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
- Work with other F&B managers and keep them informed of issues
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or matters requiring attention
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring Loss Prevention
- Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner
- Monitor quality of service in F&B outlet
- Assist in menu planning and preparation
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and requisition procedures
- Be visible on the floor and assist staff during meal periods
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Ensure training of employees on SOPs and job tasks
- Participate in departmental and hotel training
- Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions
- Complete tip reporting
- Implement and monitor corporate promotions
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
