Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations
  • Effective problem handling and solution implementation
  • Ability to understand and evaluate complex data
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to work long hours when necessary
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Or a 4-year college degree
  • Or a 2-year college degree with 1 or more years of related experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Service-oriented attitude towards guests and employees
  • Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
  • Experience conducting staff performance reviews
  • Familiarity with local liquor laws and health regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to evaluate complex information

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees at all times
  • Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the F&B outlet
  • Supervise outlet personnel
  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
  • Work with other F&B managers and keep them informed of issues
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or matters requiring attention
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring Loss Prevention
  • Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor quality of service in F&B outlet
  • Assist in menu planning and preparation
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and requisition procedures
  • Be visible on the floor and assist staff during meal periods
  • Conduct staff performance reviews
  • Ensure training of employees on SOPs and job tasks
  • Participate in departmental and hotel training
  • Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions
  • Complete tip reporting
  • Implement and monitor corporate promotions
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
