Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 4-year college degree or 2-year college degree and 1 or more years of related experience
- Long hours sometimes required
- Medium work requiring exertion of physical force
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize functions
- Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented approach
- Attendance at all required meetings and training
- Participation in management on duty coverage as needed
- Maintain attendance per Highgate Hotel standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Compliance with hotel standards and regulations for safety and efficiency

Job Qualifications

- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Experience in staff supervision and training
- Knowledge of health, safety, and liquor laws
- Familiarity with F&B operations and menu planning
- Proficiency in preparing and submitting reports
- Capability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees
- Oversee all aspects of daily outlet operations
- Supervise outlet personnel
- Respond to guest complaints promptly
- Collaborate with other F&B managers and communicate issues
- Keep supervisor informed of problems needing attention
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring loss prevention
- Prepare and submit reports timely
- Monitor quality of service
- Assist in menu planning
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health and sanitation regulations
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and requisition procedures
- Be visible on the floor and assist staff during meal periods
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Train employees on SOPs and job tasks
- Participate in departmental and hotel training
- Interview frontline F&B candidates and follow hiring standards
- Complete tip reporting
- Implement and monitor corporate promotions
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
