Job Requirements

College degree preferably specializing in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
One to two years previous experience in a line, supervisory, or assistant manager position in food and beverage
Must be fluent in English
Must have legal work authorization in the United States
Flexible schedule including availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
Ability to handle guest complaints and special requests professionally
Strong leadership and team coaching skills

Job Qualifications

Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Expert knowledge of food preparation and beverage selections
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach all food and beverage employees to meet established cultural and core standards
Maintain visibility in restaurant operations, provide recognition and positive public relations
Handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests with professionalism
Ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits to enhance guest experience
Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control
Promote a distinctive dining experience at EDGE Restaurant & Bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
