Job Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • One to two years previous experience in a line, supervisory, or assistant manager position in food and beverage
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have legal work authorization in the United States
  • Flexible schedule including availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and special requests professionally
  • Strong leadership and team coaching skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Expert knowledge of food preparation and beverage selections
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach all food and beverage employees to meet established cultural and core standards
  • Maintain visibility in restaurant operations, provide recognition and positive public relations
  • Handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests with professionalism
  • Ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits to enhance guest experience
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control
  • Promote a distinctive dining experience at EDGE Restaurant & Bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
