Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, talk, or hear
  • Ability to occasionally sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally work in wet or humid conditions and outdoor weather
  • Food safety and applicable sanitation training
  • Alcohol awareness training
  • Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance

Job Qualifications

  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and regional cuisines

  • High level of active listening and client service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Regularly walks the dining room floor during meal service to interact with members and guests to ensure quality and execution
  • Supervises inventories of materials and supplies and maintains par levels
  • Maintains regular communication with other department leaders to ensure operational objectives are met
  • Inspects the facility regularly for maintenance, repairs, or clean-up needs and ensures equipment is in working order
  • Completes reports on production and requisitions and controls distribution of supplies
  • Assists with menu design, product pricing, ordering, inventory control, and end of month inventory
  • Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining associates, and resolving complaints
