Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a private club, restaurant, or hotel
  • physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to undergo drug testing as a condition of employment

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and effectively communicate with employees
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement optimal courses of action
  • excellent organizational skills
  • a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a private club, restaurant, or hotel
  • a 4-year degree in hospitality is preferred
  • ServSafe and TIPS certification is a plus
  • physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Hiring, training, and supervising all food and beverage employees in your area of responsibility
  • coordinating food service between the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations
  • enforcing club rules, regulations, and policies to maintain a high standard of service
  • actively participating and contributing to food and beverage meetings as required
  • communicating execution plans to the team before service begins through lineups
  • ensuring compliance with health regulations and OSHA standards in employee service areas
  • maintaining a high level of visibility by greeting members and staff daily
  • assisting in planning and implementing procedures for club events
  • ensuring the appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities
  • auditing and approving food and beverage payroll in your area of responsibility
  • assisting in managing inventories of F&B service equipment and supplies
  • managing the beverage program and its offerings to our membership
  • ensuring accurate billing of food and beverage charges in your area of responsibility
  • actively participating in CMAA education as approved by the Food and Beverage Manager
  • maintaining necessary certifications such as ServSafe, TIPS, and Basic First Aid
  • participating in training programs as required by the Food and Beverage Manager
  • upholding high standards of conduct and character while serving the best interests of our members
  • performing your duties objectively, with due diligence and professional care, in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • undertaking any other duties as assigned
