Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serves as liaison between service personnel and the Club's management team
  • supervises daily shifts keeping senior leadership informed of teammate accomplishments and infractions via written communication
  • performs walkthroughs prior to, during, and after meal service to ensure club areas are clean and member-ready
  • ensures correct setup, breakdown, and reset of dining and banquet spaces and food and drink service areas
  • verifies that service areas are stocked and maintained with necessary supplies for each shift
  • ensures equipment and service areas are cleaned as indicated by side work sheets and reports necessary repairs to senior leadership
  • ensures scheduled staff are present and performing duties according to standards
  • leads the team in the smooth and efficient operation of the food and beverage department following company policies
  • maintains a visible floor presence and assists co-workers with member service
  • trains and supervises food and beverage staff including orientation and ongoing training programs
  • holds pre-shift and pre-function lineups to ensure efficient service
  • checks out servers at the end of shifts ensuring all closing side work, resets and reporting are complete and accurate
  • researches and communicates trends and inventory needs making recommendations as appropriate
  • works proactively to achieve departmental goals such as revenue and payroll
  • supports team members through training and development
  • opens and closes the clubhouse securing the property
  • enforces uniform standards
  • assists in monthly inventory
  • supports ancillary outlets based on business needs
  • handles employee concerns and promotes a positive work environment
  • conducts employee reviews and administers discipline as needed
  • completes additional duties as assigned
