Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- TABC card or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Ability to pass and maintain PCI compliance
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work extended, irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties
- Supervise, direct and train banquet personnel including hourly servers, bartenders, concessionaires and banquet captains
- Ensure the proper setup of event rooms according to food and beverage requirements and coordinate adjustments with event services staff
- Assist in the coordination of additional planning arrangements such as equipment, beverages, and linen rentals
- Coordinate and supervise execution of banquet functions ensuring client specifications are met
- Manage labor, beverage and ancillary costs based on event needs, revenue, budget and pre-event costing reports
- Oversee uniform appearance and productivity of the service team
- Monitor client needs throughout events to ensure satisfaction and communicate changes to the culinary, catering sales, and event services departments
- Assist in hiring, disciplining, and terminating part-time food and beverage staff in compliance with company policies
- Maintain payroll for direct reports following company guidelines and relevant laws
- Organize concession services including staffing, event scheduling, menu selection, layout, cleaning, cash registers and menu board programming
- Determine cash room requirements for food and beverage events and communicate needs to the Finance Department
