Job Requirements

  • High diploma or GED required
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum 6 months previous management experience in food and beverage operations or related experience

Job Qualifications

  • High diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum 6 months management experience in food and beverage operations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage financial controls
  • Experience with staff management and coaching
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and POS systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of safe food handling procedures
  • Ability to plan and coordinate events

Job Duties

  • Assist Food and Beverage Manager in selecting, managing and coaching food and beverage staff
  • Provide daily mentoring and training to staff
  • Maintain department schedule to ensure proper staffing for events and daily operations
  • Provide high levels of customer service exceeding member and guest expectations
  • Assist in maintaining financial records and preparing revenue reports
  • Serve food and beverages to guests as needed
  • Manage event planning and coordinate activities for non-golf events
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws
  • Maintain food and beverage facilities and equipment
  • Assist with payroll and employee information processing
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Foster positive interactions with club staff and members
  • Perform additional assignments as directed
  • Ensure regular attendance and punctuality
