Job Requirements
- Must be available for emergency and scheduled work on evenings, weekends or holidays
- American Red Cross and AED certification preferred or willingness to take course
- Must be available to work flexible shifts and overtime if necessary
- Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must have ServSafe certification or Mobile County Food and Beverage handler card or certificate
- Must have valid photo ID and signed, original Social Security card
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment background check
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years management experience
- Good human relation skills with strong verbal and written communication
- Strong editing skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop conceptual alternatives
- Willingness to seek out new methods and innovative ideas
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of club management software
Job Duties
- Facilitate and plan activities to ensure correct operation of the food and beverage department
- Coordinate staff activities related to managing day-to-day operations and special events
- Manage service and breakdown of events efficiently
- Ensure all personnel follows specific food and beverage protocols to increase member satisfaction
- Work closely with assistants in a fast-paced team environment
- Suggest changes to generate cost savings and increase quality standards
- Motivate employees with leadership abilities and participate in recruiting process
- Ensure all staff follow strict health department regulations and create detailed notes for superiors
