Job Requirements

  • Must be available for emergency and scheduled work on evenings, weekends or holidays
  • American Red Cross and AED certification preferred or willingness to take course
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts and overtime if necessary
  • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Must have ServSafe certification or Mobile County Food and Beverage handler card or certificate
  • Must have valid photo ID and signed, original Social Security card
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment background check

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years management experience
  • Good human relation skills with strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong editing skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop conceptual alternatives
  • Willingness to seek out new methods and innovative ideas
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of club management software

Job Duties

  • Facilitate and plan activities to ensure correct operation of the food and beverage department
  • Coordinate staff activities related to managing day-to-day operations and special events
  • Manage service and breakdown of events efficiently
  • Ensure all personnel follows specific food and beverage protocols to increase member satisfaction
  • Work closely with assistants in a fast-paced team environment
  • Suggest changes to generate cost savings and increase quality standards
  • Motivate employees with leadership abilities and participate in recruiting process
  • Ensure all staff follow strict health department regulations and create detailed notes for superiors
