Job Requirements
- Education in hospitality management or related field preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management
- experience working in unionized environments
- strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
- excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling and reservations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and swings
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven background in food and beverage operations within the hospitality sector
- demonstrated experience in team management, including leadership and supervision
- familiarity with union environments and the ability to navigate related processes effectively
- strong administrative skills, including office organization and task prioritization
- knowledge of hotel management and reservations processes
- excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different teams
- weekend availability and flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings and swings
Job Duties
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards
- manage and coordinate food and beverage operations to maintain high-quality service
- lead and supervise the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- collaborate with union representatives and navigate union-specific requirements effectively
- develop and implement schedules, ensuring proper coverage for morning, swing, and weekend shifts
- handle administrative tasks, including hotel reservations and operational planning
- ensure all associates comply with parking registration requirements and related logistics
- monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities
- assist in resolving operational challenges and improving processes to enhance overall productivity
- communicate with management and staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals
