Job Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a valid CA noncommercial Class C License
  • Available to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Satisfactory completion of background check including Live Scan
  • Subject to California DMV Pull Notice System
  • Able to work full-time
  • Must have prior experience in restaurant management
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills required

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in restaurant management
  • 2+ years experience in hotel restaurant management preferred
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads
  • Skill in interacting with guests and team members professionally
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills
  • Proficiency in business and food service software
  • Skill in writing business correspondence
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Math skills for transaction accuracy
  • Budget preparation and cost control skills
  • Knowledge of employee recruitment and training policies preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee dining room, bar, banquets and conference food and beverage operations
  • Provide leadership and supervision to food service staff
  • Manage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation rules
  • Monitor inventory and control costs
  • Develop schedules and delegate work efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
