Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations
- experience in staff training and scheduling
- knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- valid food handler's license
- Responsible Beverage Services certification
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- excellent problem-solving abilities
- physical ability to stand and move for extended periods

Job Duties
- Assist in managing and leading food and beverage staff with excellence
- select, train, evaluate, counsel, and discipline team members under company policies and safety and sanitation requirements
- maintain employee records related to attendance, punctuality, and performance
- oversee determining labor needs and adjusting staffing levels
- assist in preparing work schedules with specific duties
- keep track of food handlers' licenses and Responsible Beverage Services certifications
- hold regular staff meetings to communicate information and update employees
- ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and food safety standards
- maintain Lakehouse safety standards and security procedures
- assist in maintaining high standards of quality control for F&B cleaning programs
- ensure all equipment and furnishings are kept clean and food contact areas sanitized daily
- assist in selecting and providing proper equipment and supplies
- help with inventory and ordering supplies
- develop, plan, implement, and follow through on programs and procedures with F&B Director and Manager
- attend hotel management meetings
- prepare and review reports on food and beverage budgets, cost control, labor, and sales targets
- assist in implementing and monitoring internal controls
- write and enforce standard recipes for beverages
- verify accuracy of all charges and proper posting to accounts
- communicate effectively with guests to ensure positive experience and resolve issues promptly
- maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when dealing with guests
- coordinate tasks with front desk, human resources, maintenance, and F&B management
- take on additional duties as needed
