Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Proficient in menu planning and development
- Understanding of inventory management and ordering procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Food Handlers and RBS certified
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in managing budgets and cost controls
- Experience in menu planning and development
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures
- Certified Food Handler
- Certified in Responsible Beverage Services
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist in managing and leading food and beverage staff with excellence
- Schedule and train staff
- Handle payroll assistance
- Promote engagement with employees and guests
- Maintain employee records related to attendance, punctuality, and performance
- Oversee labor needs, adjust staffing levels, and prepare work schedules
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Maintain high standards of quality control for food and beverage cleaning programs
- Manage inventory and ordering supplies
- Develop and implement programs and procedures to benefit the company
- Attend hotel management meetings
- Prepare and review food and beverage budgets, cost control, and sales reports
- Implement and monitor internal controls for the department
- Write and enforce standard recipes for beverages
- Verify accuracy of charges and authorization codes
- Communicate effectively with guests and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with hotel staff including front desk, human resources, and maintenance
- Take on additional duties as necessary
