Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-4 years of related supervisory experience and or training
- available on weekends, holidays and on occasion extended hours
- ability to read and speak English
- must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- food safety and applicable sanitation training
- alcohol awareness training
- regular and reliable attendance
- must be able to stand, walk, talk, and listen frequently
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to work in wet or humid non-weather conditions and occasionally outdoor weather
- must incorporate safe work practices
- strong computer skills in Microsoft Office

Job Duties
- Regularly walks the dining room floor during meal service to interact with and develop rapport with members and guests to ensure quality and execution is according to standards
- supervises inventories of materials and supplies for the outlets and maintains par levels based on facility needs
- maintains regular communication with other department leaders to ensure operational objectives are being met
- inspects the facility regularly to ascertain maintenance, repairs, or clean-up needs and ensures all equipment is in proper working order including beverage carts
- completes reports on production and necessary requisitions and controls the distribution of necessary supplies
- adopts and incorporates best practices including the use of recommended inventory management software and analytical tools
- assists with administration of menu design, product pricing, ordering, inventory control procedures, and end of month inventory
- ensures sanitation standards are consistently met
- assists in coordination and management of banquets from beginning to end
- assists in the development of strong working relationships with all Troon preferred suppliers and participates in recommending programming
- assists in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems
- assists with management of department members including supervisor, cook, beverage cart, bartender, server, food runner, bus person, barback
- assists in orientation and training for new associates and ongoing training programs
- works with leadership to monitor business volume forecast and plan manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses
- incorporates safe work practices in job performance
