Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • knowledge of employment laws
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to train employees in handling alcohol, food, and sanitation
  • meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • no health or safety threats
  • ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage management
  • ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plans
  • preferably 2 years banquet management experience
  • computer skills
  • time management skills
  • negotiation skills
  • ability to manage according to employment laws
  • fluent in English
  • college level reasoning, math, computer and language skills
  • ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling and sanitation
  • food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee operation of all food and beverage outlets
  • plan, organize, coordinate and control outlet functions
  • coordinate activities of food and beverage staff to deliver quality service
  • interview, select and train food and beverage associates
  • organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
  • schedule and direct team work assignments
  • verify payroll hours and tip calculations weekly
