Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management
- bachelor's degree preferred
- knowledge of employment laws
- effective communication skills
- ability to train employees in handling alcohol, food, and sanitation
- meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- no health or safety threats
- ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage management
- ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plans
- preferably 2 years banquet management experience
- computer skills
- time management skills
- negotiation skills
- ability to manage according to employment laws
- fluent in English
- college level reasoning, math, computer and language skills
- ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling and sanitation
- food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee operation of all food and beverage outlets
- plan, organize, coordinate and control outlet functions
- coordinate activities of food and beverage staff to deliver quality service
- interview, select and train food and beverage associates
- organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
- schedule and direct team work assignments
- verify payroll hours and tip calculations weekly
