Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in food and beverage management
- Minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management
- Strong computer proficiency
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws within the jurisdiction
- Fluency in English reading, writing and speaking
- College level reasoning, math and language skills
- Certification or permit for food/beverage service worker
- Ability to effectively communicate with the public and team
- Must meet minimum age requirements for the role
- Commitment to maintaining safety and health standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan
- Prefer 2 years banquet management experience
- Requires computer skills
- Time management skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to manage according to employment laws of jurisdiction
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- College level reasoning, math, computer and language skills
- Ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling, and sanitation
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others
Job Duties
- Oversee operation of all food and beverage outlets at full-service property
- Plan, organize, coordinate and control operational outlet functions
- Coordinate activities of food and beverage staff to deliver quality products and service
- Interview, select and train food and beverage outlet associates
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
- Schedule and direct team work assignments
- Verify payroll hours and tip calculations weekly
