Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in food and beverage management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of employment laws within the jurisdiction
  • Fluency in English reading, writing and speaking
  • College level reasoning, math and language skills
  • Certification or permit for food/beverage service worker
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the public and team
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for the role
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and health standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan
  • Prefer 2 years banquet management experience
  • Requires computer skills
  • Time management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage according to employment laws of jurisdiction
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • College level reasoning, math, computer and language skills
  • Ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling, and sanitation
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others

Job Duties

  • Oversee operation of all food and beverage outlets at full-service property
  • Plan, organize, coordinate and control operational outlet functions
  • Coordinate activities of food and beverage staff to deliver quality products and service
  • Interview, select and train food and beverage outlet associates
  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
  • Schedule and direct team work assignments
  • Verify payroll hours and tip calculations weekly
