Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • knowledge of local food safety and alcohol service laws
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain sanitation standards
  • assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods
  • supervise restaurants where applicable
  • ensure guest and employee satisfaction
  • ensure standards and legal obligations of restaurant
  • handle employee questions and concerns
  • monitor employee performance
  • provide feedback on service behaviors
  • assist in supervising daily shift operations
  • supervise restaurant in absence of Operations or Floor Manager
  • participate in department meetings to communicate goals
  • ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • communicate food quality and service issues to Chef and Managers
  • ensure compliance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • monitor alcohol beverage service compliance with local laws
  • perform duties of restaurant employees as necessary
  • open and close restaurant shifts
  • provide exceptional customer service
  • interact with guests for feedback on product quality and service
  • encourage excellent customer service
  • handle guest problems and complaints
  • strive to improve service performance
  • set a positive example for guest relations
  • meet and greet guests
  • supervise ongoing training initiatives
