Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or related field
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role
  • Proficiency with financial software and credit union systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts
  • Must be able to work full time
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in financial services or banking industry
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of credit union products and services
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial information and deliver consultative sales
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams and external partners
  • Commitment to community involvement and financial education

Job Duties

  • Lead and support Financial Center staff in achieving sales, service, and referral goals aligned with AmeriCU's Strategic Plan
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional member service
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on credit union products, services, and procedures
  • Resolve complex transactions and member concerns, and provide guidance to staff
  • Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to manage expenses within budget
  • Deliver consultative sales solutions, interpreting credit reports and identifying opportunities for loans, credit cards, and other financial products
  • Build strong relationships with members and deepen engagement through community outreach and financial literacy initiatives
  • Assist in recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing team members
  • Ensure compliance with HR, operational, risk, and audit policies
  • Support employee development through performance management and training opportunities
